On 17 January 2018 companies DTEK and GE Renewable Energy signed an agreement on delivery, installation and maintenance of 26 wind turbines (WTG) with unit capacity of 3.8 MW. This wind turbine is one of the most advanced GE products and currently the largest one in Ukraine.

The wind turbines produced in Europe will be install at Primorskaya wind farm site. Installation and further maintenance of wind equipment will be carried out by the GE subdivision in Ukraine. The completion of the construction of the first stage of the Primorskaya Wind Farm totaling 100 MW is scheduled for the end of 2018.

“The total planned volume of investments exceeds 300 million Euros. DTEK once again confirms its status as one of the largest national investors”, noted the Director General of DTEK Maxim Timchenko.

Implementation of Primorskaya Wind Farm is occurring in two 100-MW phases. Commissioning of the whole wind farm is scheduled for 2020. 
Annually the plant will produce 650-700 million kWh of “green” electricity and save 600-700 thousand tons of CO2.
