On 10 April 2018, President of the Public Union Association of system support for Ukrainian reforms and technologies of Low-carbon Economy Vasyl Gureyev and Chairman of the Board of the Public Union Ukrainian Wind Energy Association Andriy Konechenkov signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation between the organisations (hereafter - Memorandum).
The memorandum identifies the main aspects of cooperation aimed at future balanced development of the Ukrainian energy sector. The parties will promote the best world practice and experience of using low carbon technologies for electricity generation, in particular, wind, solar and hydrogen technologies.

The main purpose of the Association of system support for Ukrainian reforms and technologies of Low-carbon Economy (www.lowcarbon.org.ua) is to create a low-carbon economy and low-carbon energy in Ukraine, taking into account the current world economic development trends. The implementation of the state target program for the development of renewable power and mechanical engineering, as a component of the low-carbon economy, and “Road Map of comprehensive development of wind industry and machine building of Ukraine”, are the main directions of the Association’s activities.
