SEF 2017 KYIV - 9th Sustainable Energy Forum was successfully held between the 9th and 11th of October 2017 at Convention and Exhibition Center "Parkovy", Kyiv.
"Today, Ukraine has huge potential of attracting investments in solar, wind energy, transition to alternative fuels. There is an opportunity to switch to decentralized energy supply in cities. Therefore, now the task of the state is to create conditions for reducing consumption of energy resources and modernization of energy supply systems, already having the appropriate conditions and financing," Vice Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko said during the SEF 2017 KYIV - 9th Sustainable Energy Forum.
Issues related to the main trends of wind energy development in Eastern Europe and Ukraine, the opportunities for foreign companies in the Ukrainian wind energy market, as well as wind energy projects financing and risks were discussed at a special panel "Renaissance of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Market, Wind Project Implementation Features" chaired by Andriy Konechenkov, the Chairman of the Board of UWEA, Vice-President of WWEA discussed.
