From the 24th of February we are facing an unexpected challenge. Russian agression towards Ukraine brings human tragedies, material losses, ruins dreams and the economy of Ukraine. This is why the main theme of this year\u2019s BBF is \u201c<strong>Power to Rebuild Ukraine\u201d.<\/strong>&nbsp;BBF acquired honorary patronage of the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland. The Polish-Ukrainian chamber of Commerce and Industry (PUIG) and the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ULIE) are among the Forum\u2019s co-organizers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year Forum\u2019s discussions include issues related to the impact of the russia\u2019s full-scale war against Ukraine and the current geopolitical situation on the economies of the Baltic, Adriatic and Black Seas and the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The UWEA Board members Andriy Konechenkov, Chairman of the Board and Galyna Shmidt, head of International department, attended the Forum, while Andriy Konechenkov spoke at the panel discussion devoted to the Polish-Ukrainian cooperation in the energy sector \u201cFrom Nord Stream to Energy Independence. Challenges for Poland, Ukraine and the European Union.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<em>All modern wars in the world involve a struggle for energy resources, for fossil fuels. The country&#8217;s security strategies should be based on the use of clean and renewable energy sources, as well as on creating alternatives to natural gas through the production of green hydrogen and the use of bioenergy technologies.
