Together they discussed the most pressing challenges and opportunities for the Ukrainian \u201cgreen\u201d energy sector during the period of transformation and recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"758\" src=\"https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-1024x758.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-1024x758.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-300x222.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-768x568.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEven during the war, renewable energy companies continue to develop projects that can visibly support the country during the energy crisis,\u201d emphasized the moderator of the discussion, Andriy Konechenkov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>what projects are Elementum Energy and Scatec implementing today;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>what is holding back the development of the sector and what legislative changes can accelerate progress;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>why renewable energy auctions have not yet become a full-fledged replacement for the \u201cgreen tariff\u201d,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how the introduction of a system of guarantees of origin can open the way for Ukrainian producers to the European market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and what the \u201cgreen\u201d energy sector will look like in 2030.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Forbes Energy Business Forum traditionally brings together leading market players, investors, and regulators \u2014 those who shape the future of Ukraine\u2019s energy sector.
