Together they discussed the most pressing challenges and opportunities of Ukrainian &#8220;green&#8221; energy during a period of transformation and recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-edited.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-8231\" srcset=\"https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-edited.jpeg 1280w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-edited-300x169.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-edited-1024x576.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/uwea.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/photo_2026-05-07-19.45.39-edited-768x432.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">&#8220;Even during the war, renewable energy companies continue to develop projects that can visibly support the country in a time of energy crisis&#8221;, &#8212; emphasised the moderator of the discussion, Andriy Konechenkov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The participants discussed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>which specific projects the companies Elementum Energy and Scatec are implementing today;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>what is holding back the development of the sector and which legislative changes are capable of accelerating progress;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>why renewables auctions have not yet become a full-fledged replacement for the &#8220;green tariff&#8221;;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>how the introduction of a guarantees-of-origin system could open up the path to the European market for Ukrainian producers;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and what the &#8220;green&#8221; energy sector will look like in 2030.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The Forbes &#8220;Energy of Business&#8221; forum traditionally brings together leading market players, investors and regulators &#8212; those who shape the future of Ukraine&#8217;s energy sector.
