No wind power project can be successfully implemented without the construction of the appropriate infrastructure and its further maintenance, which is an integral part of any wind power project and directly linked to the operation of the wind farm as a whole. Wind farm infrastructure includes, inter alia, the external and internal electrical networks, overhead power lines, substations and/or transformers, underground cables etc. Specialized service and design companies are responsible for the construction (installation) and maintenance of such energy infrastructure facilities.
Ukrainian Wind Energy Association (the UWEA) is pleased to announce its third webinar in the 2021 series focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects of national wind power development.
On July 20, 2021, the UWEA will host a webinar “Construction & Maintenance of Wind Farm Infrastructure” which combines the relevant knowledge and experience of such UWEA’s Member Companies as EDS, LLC “Communication and construction company” and Electroservice-Yug LLC.
The one-hour webinar will answer the following questions:
1. What is the experience of companies at all stages of design and construction of power facilities and electrical networks? How important is the role of modern technology and an integrated approach to the success of the project?
2. What are the features of installation, maintenance and reconstruction of electrical networks and substations?
3. How to minimize the number of reconstructions of electrical networks and substations?
4. What is the level of procurement and operation of equipment of domestic and foreign production?
5. What are the features of commercial and technical electricity metering systems?
6. What is the role of service personnel in performing various design and service activities?
