UWEA Committees are the Association’s key expert platforms that shape Ukraine’s renewable energy development strategy. By bringing together leading specialists, lawyers, and market players, we develop effective regulatory solutions, improve legislation, and implement cutting-edge energy storage technologies for the country’s energy-independent future.
UWEA Committee on Development and Implementation of BESS
The Committee on the Development and Implementation of Energy Storage Systems, established in spring 2025 pursuant to the decision of the UWEA Board dated 25 March 2025, consists of energy storage specialists from companies operating in Ukraine’s wind energy market.
The Committee’s activities are aimed at fostering synergy among producers, traders, energy storage operators, and investors.
Committee members actively participate in the development of legislative initiatives in the energy storage sector in close cooperation with the UWEA Legal Committee.
The UWEA Committee on the Development and Implementation of Energy Storage Systems serves as a professional platform for developing regulatory and technical solutions in the field of energy storage systems.
UWEA Legal Committee
The UWEA Legal Committee has been successfully operating since 2021 and includes representatives of law firms and in-house legal counsels of companies working in Ukraine’s renewable energy sector, who jointly shape the legal strategy of the industry.
Its members carry out active expert, analytical, and advocacy activities, participate in the development and support of legislative initiatives, prepare the Association’s legal positions, and maintain regular interaction with public authorities regarding key challenges and reforms in the renewable energy sector.
