On October 24, 2025, the Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Energy Agency Andriy Konechenkov moderated the strategic dialogue “Green Energy: What Industry Leaders Are Preparing For” as part of the annual Forbes Ukraine Energy Forum “Business Energy”.
On the same stage were Olga Rybachuk, CEO of Elementum Energy and member of the Board of the Ukrainian Energy Agency, and Alina Sviderska, CEO of Scatec in Ukraine. Together they discussed the most pressing challenges and opportunities for the Ukrainian “green” energy sector during the period of transformation and recovery.

“Even during the war, renewable energy companies continue to develop projects that can visibly support the country during the energy crisis,” emphasized the moderator of the discussion, Andriy Konechenkov.
The participants discussed:
- what projects are Elementum Energy and Scatec implementing today;
- what is holding back the development of the sector and what legislative changes can accelerate progress;
- why renewable energy auctions have not yet become a full-fledged replacement for the “green tariff”,
- how the introduction of a system of guarantees of origin can open the way for Ukrainian producers to the European market;
- and what the “green” energy sector will look like in 2030.
The Forbes Energy Business Forum traditionally brings together leading market players, investors, and regulators — those who shape the future of Ukraine’s energy sector. Once a year, the leading business publication asks the key question: where are we today — and where are we going tomorrow?
We sincerely thank Forbes Ukraine for the invitation to participate and the opportunity to moderate a discussion that shapes the vision of the country’s energy future.
